About Us
White & White Consulting brings over 20 years of experience to the network implementation, service, and training industries. Our technicians have worked all over New Jersey and our trainers have taught in New York City, Washington, Orlando, Ottawa, Boston, Albany, Wilmington, and many other cities large and small.
Permanent Staff
Marilyn Miller-White, a SQL Server 2005 MCTS and MCITP, MCT, MCDBA, and MCSE, is the owner of White Consulting.
With a master’s degree in education and a passion for learning, Marilyn began teaching computer science in New Jersey’s schools and colleges. While teaching, she decided to branch out to both the government and private sectors, specializing in designing database, programming, and systems solutions to support the growing needs of her customers.
She has been training and implementing Microsoft technologies for customers throughout North America for over ten years. An early achiever on both the Windows 2003 and SQL Server 2005 platforms, she is often called upon to speak on Microsoft solutions. She has presented at Microsoft launch events for SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005. In June 2006 and 2007 she was a Technical Learning Guide at TechEd. At TechEd 2007 she presented the Instructor Led Lab for SharePoint workflows. Currently an instructor for Mindsharp, she is most excited to share her knowledge and experience on SharePoint and SQL Server 2005 products.
Most recently, she has authored two MCITP study guides under the Sybex label: MCITP Developer: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Data Access Design and Optimization Study Guide (70-442) and MCITP Administrator: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Optimization and Maintenance Study Guide (70-444).
Jay Knarr began working on phone support for Planet Access Networks, an Internet service provider in Stanhope, New Jersey before moving on to become an on-site Computer Network Technician with Office Business Systems based in Pine Brook, N.J., a position he held until 2002. He holds a B.A. cum laude from Furman University and an M.A. from Southern Illinois University, both in History.
